Dr. Mike Johns

Dr. Michael K. Johns received a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Dairy Sciences from Auburn University in 1994. He then attended the College of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1998. After completing his preceptorship in Hartselle, Alabama, he began his career at Linderman Animal hospital as an associate Veterinarian in June of 1998. After thirteen years in that role, Dr. Johns and Dr. Linderman came to the agreement of switching roles, and in April of 2011, Dr. Johns became the owner of Linderman Animal Hospital. Dr. Johns knew at an early age that providing care for animals was his life’s calling and his compassion for animals and their owners is evident to all that meet him.
Dr. Johns lives on a working cattle farm with his wife, Audra, and their children, Parker and Madelyn. They have a menagerie of animals and he spends his free time working on his farm, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and attending Auburn football games.
