Dr. Christine Laird
Dr. Christine Laird received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Iowa State University in 2000. She then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2004.
She began her career at Shaw Pet and Equine Hospitals in Victoria, British Columbia Canada, where she worked with both routine medical and surgical cases and in emergency and 24/7 critical care for nine years. She spent a short time at Glenview and Eagle Rise veterinary clinics in Langford, British Columbia before joining the Canadian Food Inspection Agency where she worked for 10 years with all different species of animals doing import and export work and disease control, even working in the response to the notifiable avian influenza outbreak. She worked with aquatic animal diseases too. She returned to small animal practice and the United States in 2024. She joined the Linderman Animal Hospital team in January 2026 and is excited to be working with patients and clients to help provide compassionate care for their pets.
Dr. Laird lives in Huntsville with her husband, David. She has several pets and spends her free time hiking, camping and spending time with family.
